Brenda's painting shows a mixture of the small 'bush tuckers' available in the region of Pulardi Outstation, Old Teddy Briscoe's place.
Teddy is the senior man of the region, and lives with his immediate family at Pulardi, (also called Desert Bore) on the eastern boundary of Mount Allan, bordering Napperby Station.
The richness and variety of foods are shown, with groups of women gathered around their camps, sharing talk, food and company. They are depicted as 'U' shapes - that being the track they leave on the ground when sitting. Beside them are their digging sticks and coolamons (food carrying bowls).
Brenda has been painting for many years, and her works have been shown throughout Australia and overseas.
