Brenda's painting shows a mixture of the small 'bush tuckers' available in the region of Pulardi Outstation, Old Teddy Briscoe's place.
Teddy is the senior man of the region, and lives with his immediate family at Pulardi (also known as Desert Bore) on the eastern border of Mount Allan Station, bordering Napperby Station.
The richness and variety of foods are shown, with groups of women gathered around their camps, sharing talk, food and company. The women are depicted as 'U' shapes - that being the track they leave on the ground when sitting. Beside them are their digging sticks and oval shaped coolamons, (wooden food bowls).
