Kanta (women) are travelling from the west of the Tanami desert in this work by Rex. As thay travel they dance and sing, and pass on the law to the younger women. They form a path as they travel.

At the sides are stands of desert oak, which repeat the women's songs as the breeze blows through them. The stripes at the corners are the body decorations the women wear when performing ceremonial events.
